It's National Volunteers Week
and community organisations that would like to recruit more members have stalls this afternoon at Stamford Library where a volunteer fayre is taking place between 2pm-4pm. Groups ranging from heritage and culture to caring services, crafts, retail and education will be on hand to chat to, as well as Rutland and Stamford Sound, which has a community station that runs almost exclusively on volunteers.
