Oakham 1sts made it two wins in a row after making 254-9 they won by 46 runs at home to Shepshed 1sts, whilst the 2nds in Division 4 East lost by three wickets at Kibworth 3rd X1. In Division 9 East, the 3rd X1 have suffered back-to-back defeats by the closest of margins, one run after being set 191 by second placed Electricity Sports 4th X1. This was after Tom Clifton had taken 7-55.
Uppingham Town 1sts in Division 1 lost to bottom side Electricity Sports 1sts, who bowled them out for 122 to win by three wickets, the 2nds also losing in Division 5 East by 119 runs at top of the table North Kilworth 1sts after all out for 91. Uppingham Town 3rd X1 made it four wins in a row in Division 9 East with an impressive home win as they beat the unbeaten leaders Egerton Park 3rd X1 by 24 runs with Kevin Webster having figures of 5-40.
Market Overton 1sts returned to winning ways by 89 runs in Division 7 East away to SPA 1sts who were all out for 101. Charlie Milner taking 5-12. The 2nds in Division 9 East lost to bottom side Fleckney Village 2nds by 77 runs, the visitors having made 231 all out.
Wakerley & Barrowden 1sts had a comprehensive win over Broughton Astley 2nds. After posting 273-7 their opponents made only 122, Gareth Packer taking 5-20.
Lincolnshire Cricket Board Premier League:
Burghley Park 1sts could not build on last week’s win losing by 23 runs at Spalding 1sts who dismissed them for just 92 runs.
South Lincs & Border League:
Burghley Park 2nds in Division 1 made it back-to-back wins with a one-wicket win at Long Sutton 2nds who had made 184.
Division 3 and Uffington 1sts won at home beating Ketton Sports 2nds by 91 runs after they bowled them out for 127.
Cambridgeshire & Huntingdonshire League Division 2
Stamford Town 1sts won by 49 runs after they had bowled out visitors Cambridge NCI 1sts for 99 runs.
Rutland League:
Oakham 1sts game in Division 1 away at City 1sts was abandoned with Oakham 1sts batting first at 60-5.
A similar story for 3rd placed Uffington 1sts in Division 2, who were on 131-3 against City 2nds when the game was abandoned. The 2nds in Division 4 West lost by one run after being 57-1. Earlier, Sawtry 1sts had been dismissed for 104 with Sam Dalley taking 5-17.
Ketton Sports 1sts in Division 3 lost at Wellingborough Indians 2nds by three wickets after making 218-5.
In Division 4 East, Market Overton against Hampton 1sts was abandoned.
Grantham and Melton Cricket Association Division 2:
Burghley Park 2nds lost by 77 runs away at 2nd placed Hallaton Stars 1sts after they were all out for 163. This was after having the home side at 35-5.
