A somewhat reduced football programme due to the heavy rain on Friday.
The Daniels suffered their third league defeat in a week after losing 3-0 at Leiston in the Southern League Premier Central so remain bottom.
In Division 1 of the Peterborough and District League, leaders Daniel Reserves beat 3rd placed Yaxley Reserves 7–3 to extend their winning run to seven in the league. Two goals each for Tyrell Campbell-Smith and Aston Taylor and one a piece for Julian Andre, Cameron Broomfield and Jake Walton.
Bourne Town made it two wins in a row as they beat Loughborough Students, who they go above on goal difference 2–1 away in the Northern Premier League Midlands Division. The goals coming from a Sam Bayly double in the first half.
Women’s Football
Stamford AFC are through to the 3rd Round of the Lincolnshire FA County Cup following their biggest win of the season in all competitions as they beat Bottesford 7-1. For the second week running Emma Pollard scored four with the remaining goals coming from Katie Gee, Paige Jones and Fran Kavanagh.
Deeping Rangers meanwhile are out after losing 8-0 at home to Gainsborough Trinity.
