The Ram Jam comes back to life from today as the first store on the site just off the A1 between Greetham and Stretton opens its doors.
Wendy's Is one of just over 40 across the country and is the 6th of the franchise holder, Blank Table. Brightside Diner opens soon and Costa is also coming to the site in new stone buildings, replacing the iconic nightspot that lay derelict for several years. Managing director of Wendy's Blank Table, Carl Morris says he looks forward to continuing the legacy of the Ram Jam site.
‘Yeah, absolutely. I mean, Ram Jam historically was a destination, it was a meeting place for people. I think the development here has done the Ram Jam justice. I think it's absolutely beautiful, which retained a lot of historical culture and building materials in terms of the stonework and, you know, ultimately, hopefully it will retain that destination for people to come.’
