Ketton Horticultural Society presents a talk and demonstartion by Helen Banks on Sustainable Flower Arranging
Anyone who wishes to enjoy cut flowers should have some understanding of the possible harmful environmental impact of their choices. For example:
How far have the flowers you buy travelled?
Do you know how to make your flowers last as long as possible?
Do you use harmful materials when arranging flowers (e.g. floral foam)?
Helen will discuss and demonstrate how to work with cut flowers while minimising the impact on
the environment, using SUSTAINABLE FLORISTRY principles and techniques.
