Thousands flock to the World Conker Championships every year on the 2nd Sunday of October, to watch the world’s best Conkerers battle for the titles of Conker King and Queen. With competitors from across the globe, the next Championships will take place on the 12th of October 2025 starting at 9:30 and finishing at around 16:00.

Following extensive analysis of the size and number of available conkers across Europe, the World Conker Championships committee have concluded that there are a sufficient number of large playing conkers for the 2025 event to go ahead.

Alongside the competition itself, we also offer a wide selection of food, drink and entertainment with a little bit of something for everybody. This is all done to support local producers and for our primary mission to raise money to help the visually impaired. So far we have raised over £430,000 since the Championships were first founded in 1965.
All tickets to access the event can be purchased on the day at the entry gate using either cash or card. These tickets are only for entry to the event and do not include registration into the adult competition. However, each ticket allows 1 free entry per child into the junior competition.
