A regular police presence in Morton has helped bring speeds down since Christmas say Lincolnshire Police.
They have responded to residents in the village near Bourne after finding various vehicles travelling above the 30 limit. In addition, they've been carrying out routine checks on drivers and vehicles to ensure they are travelling safely, including breath tests, also looking out for distractions, not wearing seatbelts and careless driving as well as speeding.
