A service to mark four years since the invasion of Ukraine is being held in Stamford this evening.
The Sunflowers Ukrainian Choir will join former poet laureates Rob Elks and Scott Coe and ministers, Reverend Father Neal Shaw from All Saints and Lorraine Wright from St. George’s. The service at the War Memorial on Broad Street begins at 5:00pm. At St. Peter’s Hill in Grantham the Ukrainian flag will be raised this morning at the headquarters of South Kesteven District Council.
