due to the strong winds, and that in most cases it's best to contact highways at Rutland County Council in the first instance unless there is an immediate danger or risk to life. Both Stretton and Ashwell had trees come down yesterday. National Grid worked into the night to repair power lines at Water Lane in Ashwell.
