A travelling play highlighting hidden illnesses is being performed over in Leicester tonight.
Bright Places sees three actors play the central character through her journey with Mm is being performed at the Attenborough Arts Centre this evening. One of the actresses, Rebecca Holmes, who has multiple sclerosis herself, says the play has helped more people understand chronic illnesses.
‘Yeah, exactly and it really highlights that. It highlights how individuals who are going through it feel about the situation, about themselves and also how society, you know, in general feels about it. We've had a lot of audience members who have friends or relatives with either MS or a different chronic health condition and they sort of said they've given feedback. That It helped them to understand their loved one so much more, so that's nice’.
