Small businesses in Rutland and Stamford have a chance to benefit from Google's insight
on how best to promote yourself online. The free one day course on the 5th of June at the Wisteria Hotel in Oakham covers AI, optimizing Internet searches and social media skills. It's been organised by Rutland and Stamford MP Alicia Kearns who encourages people to sign up as soon as possible as spaces are limited.
‘I approached Google and said, look, I understand that you quite often hold workshops around the country. I was hoping you might come and do what in our communities. And essentially, it's for anyone who's got their own business or thinking about setting up their own business, who wants to learn more about how to, you know, use Google, how to use Google rankings, how to use AI, how to get more attention online, essentially how to be more successful and attract more attention for your business and yeah, we reach capacity within hours and then they're kindly Google agreed that they would provide extra staff and they extend the capacity again. So I'm really looking forward to it. Obviously the reason I'm doing it because I want more people locally to have to grow their businesses and be successful. You know, you shouldn't have to be in a capital or a city to have to create your own business and thrive so I hope it goes really well’.
