A celebrated Ukrainian chef, food writer and activist is giving a talk at Stamford Town Hall this evening.
Olia Hercules will be talking about her new book Strong Roots, which looks back at a century of Ukrainian history from her grandmother's deportation under Stalin to her parents' flight from their occupied hometown in 2022. The event begins at 6:30pm in Stamford Town Hall's courtroom.
