Northants and Rutland Open Studios have their first Christmas market in Rutland this weekend.
It's at St. Andrews Church in Lyddington with refreshments and cakes in the village hall both today and tomorrow. Organiser Katie Boyce says that even some bespoke work especially for the event.
‘20 artists taking part, each bringing with them a completely different mix of artworks and makes that they have created. Some specifically for Lyddington and others It's just their normal work that they do pretty much every single day. Some of them are professional, some of them can only get time to do it at the weekends. But we're bringing ceramics, textiles, original artworks, prints, festive bubbles, all sorts of things, glasswork, woodwork. So you can expect a completely different Christmas market to probably what you're used to seeing around the county normally’.
