A boy was taken to hospital yesterday with serious injuries
after a collision on Station Road, Castle Bytham. Police say it involved a car, a blue Audi A4, and a pedestrian and officers were called at 3:19 yesterday afternoon. Officers say the boy's injuries are thought to be potentially life changing. The road was closed until early evening for investigation work.
Water supplies are returning to the Stamford area, after a burst water main left hundreds of homes from Tickencote to Tallington with low pressure, or in many cases, no water.
