A Stamford campaign to keep children and young people safe online and to reduce the use of smartphones is moving into Rutland from today.
The Conversation Stamford Cyberwise campaign has attracted national attention and already has over 200 parents signed up to its pledge. For no smartphones for primary age children, no social media until at least age 13 and parental controls until age 16 after seeing research that points to damage of young minds to early exposure.
