Deadline approaches to offer sites for development in Rutland

Rutland County Council says you've only got till this Friday to offer up a site for possible future development in the county.

The call for sites is appealing for landowners, developers, and members of the public to have their say on appropriate locations as part of the emerging Rutland local plan.

This is needed because the government more than doubled the amount of new houses required to be built in Rutland from 123 to 269 homes a year in December, 2024. The plan, which is set to be adopted later this year falls short of the new targets, but a revised plan is set to follow with new sites added.
