Disruption continues due to flooding across some of the Rutland and Stamford area,
although many water levels affecting roads have fallen. Buses continued to replace trains between Leicester and Peterborough and we've also heard early reports that they were a little late starting. Charles Read Academy have moved to online learning in Corby Glen due to flooding in the village. Creeton and Greatford are also affected by flooding.
Children and staff were evacuated from Edenham Primary School yesterday as flooding engulfed the main road by the school or 45 pupils were taken across the flood water along with three teachers and the head, thanks to a combination of the fire service, volunteers with four by fours and tractors and they were home at normal time. The Lincolnshire Resilience Forum says it's continuing to monitor the flooding situation in communities likely to suffer, including Greatford. They say the River West Glen was significantly above normal levels last night and that 49 properties are at risk of flooding in the village. Emergency services continue to be in the area to deal with any issues.
