Tesco's most supported project in recent years at the Oakham Stores Blue Token Scheme was awarded £1,500 yesterday.
Dying Matters in Rutland will spend the grants on a new project chair. Hilary Fox says it will support their work generally and also help reach people away from their well resource website.
‘£1,500 we have earmarked also for a special project which is to hold an event where we will be giving information. We'll get some professionals in support of Dying Matters Week next year just to try and get to people for whom perhaps the website isn't the easiest way to access information. So this is an invaluable grant for us because it enables us to do something new’.
