East Midlands In Bloom success for Uppingham and Stamford

East Midlands in Bloom is an annual competition and is one of the 18 regions/nations which comprise ‘Britain in Bloom‘, the campaign organised by the Royal Horticultural Society.

Uppingham and Stamford have once again achieved their best ever results in the East Midlands in Bloom competition. Judging took place in July and the results have just been announced.

Uppingham won Gold in the Small Town Category, while Stamford achieved Silver Gilt in the next category up.

Both the gardens of The Falcon Hotel in Uppingham and The Crown Hotel in Stamford achieved Gold.

Judges Awards were presented to the Stamford in Bloom Chair Project and to the Uppingham in Bloom Disseminated Orchard with Gold also awarded for Uppingham’s Spring Bulb displays.
