Ketton is marking Great Big Green Week with the annual Green Festival this afternoon.
Organised by Ketton Climate Action. The event at Hall Close between 2:00pm and 4:00pm, features a variety of stalls and attractions with an environmental and sustainable theme. This year the national focuses on swapping together for good. There's a bike repair service and exchange, a toy swap and sale as well as arts and crafts are renewable energy supply and a duck race which is in aid of Ketton School PTA. There's also information on walking routes around the village and the Ketton Nut Project. The Great Big Green Week is nationally organised by the Climate Coalition, a group of over 130 organisations including the National Trust, WI, the Fair Trade Foundation, Oxfam and the RSPB.
