Leicestershire Police says it's arresting over 100 drivers a month at the roadside
across Leicestershire and Rutland and as the number continues to increase, the force has launched its winter drink and drug driving campaign. Officers are working round the clock and making checks at locations in the city and across the two counties to help road safety. The latest government data reveals over 300 people are killed each year due to drivers over the legal limit.
