Lincolnshire County Council, like Rutland, is consulting about its budget proposals
for the coming year. They've launched a survey online which will be shared with their executive on the 3rd of February and a decision will be made by full council a month today. The survey is open until next Tuesday. They are asking residents to choose between a balanced budget and a 4.99% increase in council tax, the maximum allowed without a referendum, a 4.49% increase, which means a £2,000,000 shortfall and a 3.99% increase which would lead to a £4,000,000 shortfall.
