Churches across Rutland and Stamford will turn purple tonight for World Polio Day.
Thanks to Rotary clubs across the area. All Saints in Oakham, Normanton Church at Rutland Water and all the churches in Stamford will be illuminated. It’s to raise awareness of the global effort to eradicate polio and the strides that have been made over the past few years.
