New food waste caddies are starting to be delivered in Stamford, Bourne, The Deepings and Grantham from next week.
Like Rutland, South Kesteven District Council will supply a smaller 5 litre grey kitchen caddy and a black 23 litre outdoor caddy for the kerbside. That will begin to be collected from the 13th of April and the food waste will be turned into fertiliser for agriculture and biogas thanks to anaerobic digestion.
