Rutland Police are appealing for information after a woman was walking her dog at Quarry Farm
near the Casterton border with Stamford and were set upon by another dog that was off its lead. The incident happened at around 5:45 on Wednesday evening, the 7th of May, when she was approached by a Labrador which was being walked by a man and woman. The dog jumped up at her several times.Tried to bite her before the man put it on a lead. After the incident the woman noticed her jacket had been ripped. Officers are appealing for anyone who may have information to come forward, including a cyclist who stopped to help. The woman didn't get his name.
