Police continue to highlight drink & drug driving

Rutland and Leicestershire Police and the Road Safety Partnership are reminding road users about its summer campaign to highlight drink and drug driving.

Every month. Leicestershire Police arrests on average well over 100 drink drug drivers. In 2024 over 240 people were killed nationally in collisions involving drink or drugs.
