Police in Rutland and Stamford say although we live in a low crime area, we can reduce it further by reporting suspicious activity and increasing security where needed.
Rural crime is a priority for officers in North Rutland and this week a quad bike was stolen from inside a garage on a farm and an Ivor Williams trailer was taken from Morkery Woods near Castle Bytham on Monday evening. Police say trackers, wheel clamps and CCTV are all worth considering, as well as security marking and unique identification.
