Pop-up pantry and other food available in Stamford

A large and unexpected delivery of fruit and vegetables has prompted a Stamford food waste organisation to launch a pop-up pantry Volunteers at Second Helping so at Barn Hill Methodist Church.

From 8:00 AM to midday and say if you miss that, their community fridge in the passageway is also likely to be well stocked. Meanwhile, across town, Georges Food Hub is open between 2:00 and 6:00 PM at their headquarters at Saint Augustine's Primary School on Kesteven Road in Stamford, again with plenty of fruit and veg as well as frozen food and other items.
