Rutland Police and Crime Commissioner is giving grants of up to £10,000 to improve road safety and promote safer streets.
Rupert Matthews has launched the initiative as part of his Community Action Fund. The opportunity is open to a wide range of applicants from schools and parish councils to community groups and registered charities. Funds can be used towards workshops, reflective gear and educational materials, physical deterrents and school safety initiatives. The Road Safety Grant round two is open now and closes on the 12th of January. Applicants can apply via https://www.leics.pcc.police.uk/Planning-and-Money/Commissioning/Current-Funding-Available/Community-Action-Fund/Round-2-Road-Safety.aspx
