At Defender Burghley Horse Trials Lincolnshire’s Ros Canter made history by winning both Burghley and Badminton twice
on the same combination and also became only the third rider and horse to win back-to-back Burghleys. Ros told us Burghley has long held a special place in her heart.
‘Absolutely. It's very special. I've loved coming to Burghley, you know as a child to watch all my kind of idols and then to do the young event horse class and eventually compete here myself. So yeah it's a very, very special event. Equally you know if I wasn't competing here I'd certainly come and enjoy the day out’.
