Rutland and Stamford's MP is holding what she believes to be the area's first disability forum today to better understand the issues faced by locals and to better support those who need help.
A variety of organisations are there too. It's taking place at the Barnsdale near Exton this morning. Aicia Kearns says she hopes everyone who's attending will get something out of the event.
"It's great, I've got lots of local service providers, charities, community groups coming along so that those attending can also perhaps become aware of even more support that is available locally to them so they can, you know, see who else is out there wanting to provide support. But I'm really looking forward to listening and learning, and then taking away and seeing what I can do to better support people living with disabilities in our communities. Thank you to everyone who signed up."
