The Rutland Primary School Cross Country Championships will see the Top Six from each race represent the county against schools from across Leicestershire. The event at Rutland Water last Friday, was the first event of the school year and has been running almost continually since the 1970s.
Hear from Active Rutland Manager Chris Thomas, and the first place runners from all the races, from Year 3 to Year 6. This race featured primary schools including Brooke Hill, Brooke Priory, Ryhall Academy, English Martyrs, Leighfield, St Mary & St Johns North Luffenham, Hallaton, Tugby and Bringhurst. Rutland Learning Trust schools enter the county competition using their own results.
