Rutland residents are being urged to think carefully about what they put in each bin ahead of recommendations for a new food waste collection for the county
43% of Rutland's household waste is food and 16% is recyclables that go in our grey bins. The council says well over half of the waste we put in our black bins could though be recycled. The council is beginning a Waste Less, Recycle More campaign and proposals for new food waste service will be presented to Rutland County Council's cabinet on the 12th of November.
