The application process for secondary school places for next year is now open.
Rutland County Council has published guidance on its website aimed at parents of Year 6 children. It says if you delayed your child's entry by a year, and they would otherwise be in Year 6, you must still submit an application this year and ask that their secondary place is delayed by a year. It says there's no rush to submit your application, as all will be treated equally, as long as they are submitted by the national closing date of the 31st of October this year.
