An event in Oakham today showcasing the range of services available through the well-being arm of Rutland County Council
and other partner organisations. Living Well in Rutland brings together Oakham Library, the Family Hub next door and Oakham Castle. Refurbished bikes are being given away in the castle this morning. There is story time with Makaton signing in the Family Hub. A seated exercise taster in the Library and a treasure trail running across all three sites. Adult learning, youth and active offers as well as some schools and early years organisations are taking part, as well as those supporting dementia, mental health, special needs, the Department of Work and Pensions and Citizens Advice Rutland who all have stalls. The event runs between 10:00am and 2:00pm today across the Library, Family Hub and Oakham Castle and all are welcome.
