Stamford Men's Shed

A meeting is taking place this week to gauge interest in establishing a Men's Shed in Stamford.

In partnership with Men's Sheds UK, Mindspace is holding a meeting on Thursday evening at it's community garden on Uffington Road in Stamford from 6:00 pm. There is a well established project at Oakham Enterprise Park with age UK and at the Don't Lose Hope Community Garden in Bourne. And it's hope this could be the start of a Stamford project.

Each shed is unique, but often includes woodwork, metalwork, repairs, gardening and community projects. They provide a place for men to talk, connect, and have fun whilst developing and using practical skills with a shared purpose.
