If you're interested in a men's shed project in Stamford, you're being invited to the Mindspace Wellbeing Garden on Uffington Road from six o'clock this evening.
The first meeting is to gauge interest and to find out the needs and wants of the local community. There are thousands of similar projects across the country and successful ones in Oakham, Bourne and Peterborough, but tonight it's hoped it'll be the start of the first in StaMford.
Each shed is unique, but often includes woodworking, metalworking, repairs, gardening, and community projects. They provide a place for men to talk, connect, and have fun whilst developing and using practical skills with a shared purpose.
