Stamford Welland Academy has marked the 10 year anniversary since the school was taken over and renamed from Queen Eleanor.
Yesterday was a day of celebration for the students and staff. Principal Vicky Lloyd says it was always her ambition to grow the school in pupil numbers and reputation.
We also hear from Louise Warren who was part of the Free School group which came together for a new school in Stamford - the Department for Education then offered the now Meridian Trust the chance to change Queen Eleanor. Mark Woods is the CEO.
