Tributes are being paid to former Stamford MP Quentin Davies, who has died aged 80.
He began in the Stamford and Spalding seat in 1987 and remained in the Grantham and Stamford seat until 2010, having been Conservative until he changed his allegiance to Labour in 2007. He then served as Lord Davies of Stamford till 2023. He held several roles in government from working with Europe to International Development and the Treasury.
