Rutland County Council begins its rural verge cutting programme
today to help improve visibility along roads and at junctions. It's one metre step cut for roads outside of town and village boundaries. Twelve parishes manage their own verge cutting, with the County Council doing the rest. The first cut should be completed by the end of the month.
