Two major village events take place this coming weekend,
both to benefit their facilities and the wider community. The Uffington Scarecrow Festival is celebrating 100 years of Sir David Attenborough on Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday with creations themed on our planet and the natural world. Whilst the Braunston May Fayre raises money for the village church, Riding for the Disabled and the Oliver Liddar Foundation. with traditions including maypole dancing and the crowning of the May Queen. Both have a dog show and a variety of quality stalls including crafts.
