Visitors to the proposed Wild Rutland site can get a preview of what's planned for the wildlife park between Burley Wood and the Oakham bypass
thanks to a series of events this summer. They believe they have the largest area of ancient woodland across Rutland and Leicestershire, and events include a chance to see the original site of the Rutland Ospreys, glow worms, moths, deer and the trees themselves. More information and booking is available on the Wild Rutland website https://www.wildrutland.com/events/. The full planning application for the nature reserve and wildlife park is expected to be submitted to Rutland County Council later this year
