Visitors to the proposed Wild Rutland site can get a preview of what's planned for the wildlife park between Burley Wood and the Oakham bypass
thanks to a series of events this summer. They believe they have the largest area of ancient woodland across Rutland and Leicestershire, and events include a chance to see the original site of the Rutland Ospreys, glow worms, moths, deer and the trees themselves. The full planning application for the nature reserve and wildlife park is expected to be submitted to Rutland County Council later this year
