Police are warning lead thefts could be imminent at churches across Rutland and Stamford.
The team at All Saints Church in Oakham are worried they've been scoped in preparation for lead to be taken after two people were spotted on the roof of the church during the early hours of last Thursday morning. By the time security had arrived, no one was there. If you're out late at night or in the early hours particularly, you're being asked to report any suspicious activity to the police, including any vans parked near to a church building out of normal working hours.
