Not so good for the 2nds who lost by 5 wickets away to Houghton & Thurnby 2nds but better news for the 3rds on the road with a 3 wicket win at Daman Iconz 3rds
Uppingham Town 1sts won by just 1 run at Rothley Park 2nds, Captain Charlie Cox posting 144 also with 18 4’s in a total of 303-7. The 2nds lost at home to Hallaton Stars 1sts by 26 runs. This was after Luke Sturgess had taken 5-53 for them. Defeat also for the 3rds to visitors Syston Town 3rds by 120 runs.
Market Overton 1sts lost for the first time in four by 5 wickets at home to top of the table Birstall Village 2nds in Championship 2 Central, whilst the 2nds lost at leaders of Championship 4 Central, Electricity Sports 4th XI by 7 wickets.
Wakerley & Barrowden 1sts completed a league double over visitors Houghton & Thurnby 4th XI by 141 runs.
