A disappointing start to the United Counties Premier Division North season for our local sides with Blackstones losing 3-2 at Clay Cross Town after Harry Peasgood and Andy Irvine had pulled it back to 2-2, whilst Deeping Rangers lost 2-1 at home to Kimberley Miners Welfare. Ryan Cook had given them an early lead.
The Daniels were beaten 5-0 at home in their friendly against Bourne Town.

Uppingham Town avenged their defeat in June as they won at Burghley Park 1sts by 7 wickets, whilst Uffington 1sts lost away to Barnack 1sts by 5 wickets in Division 1.
Oakham 1sts went down by 3 wickets at Wellingborough Indians 1sts in Division 2 despite Irvan Amin with 5-37.
Not a good afternoon for 2nd placed Stamford Town 1sts in Division 3 losing by 7 wickets at Laxton Park 1sts.
