Women’s Football:
Champions Deeping Rangers wrapped up their Division 2 campaign with a 10-1 win at bottom club Manea Sirens Ladies A.
Rugby:
It was not to be for Stamford at Twickenham as they lost 45-15 to a strong Brunel University side, who scored five tries in the first half in the Papa John’s Men’s Community Cup Counties 1 Championship Final. Freddie Chapman, Edward Cox and George Cox with the tries for Stamford.
In the Gallagher English Premiership, Leicester Tigers stay 2nd despite losing at leaders Bath 43-15, whilst Northampton Saints produced a superb fight back. Trailing 24-14 with ten minutes to go beat Saracens 28-24.

Oakham Town 1sts lost by 129 runs at Lutterworth 1sts in the Premier Division.
Division 1 saw Uppingham Town 1sts lose by four runs after dismissing Barkby United 1sts for 174.
Uppingham Town 2nds suffered an eight-wicket home defeat after being bowled out for 110 by Barkby United 2nds in Division 5 East.
Market Overton 1sts in Division 7 East won by 96 runs against Countesthorpe 2nds following a maiden unbeaten century from Matt Perry of 120.
Division 9 East saw Market Overton 2nds beaten by nine wickets at leaders Egerton Park 3rd XI after all out for 95.
Oakham 3rd X1 lost by six wickets at Houghton & Thurnby 4th XI despite 103 not out from Darran Jones.
Uppingham Town 3rd X1 lost by one wicket at Rothley Park 4th XI, and Wakerley & Barrowden 1sts conceded their fixture at Electricity Sports 4th XI.
Lincolnshire Cricket Board Premier League:
Burghley Park 1sts made 296-8, Pete Foster 99 not out as they beat Nettleham 1sts away by 76 runs.

Burghley Park 2nds in Division 1 lost by six wickets at home to Freiston L&L 1sts.
Division 3 saw Ketton Sports 2nds lose away by 39 runs at Royal Boston 2nds.
Cambridgeshire & Huntingdonshire League Division 2:
Leaders Stamford Town 1sts won by 63 runs at Saffron Walden 2nds.
Huntingdonshire League Division 2:
Stamford Town 2nds suffered a three-wicket defeat at home to Royal Strikers Peterborough 1sts.
Rutland League:
Burghley Park 1sts in Division 1 won by eight wickets at home to Ufford Park 1sts. For the second week running, James Laud with a century this time 107 not out.
To Division 2 and Uppingham Town have gone top after beating the former leaders, Wellingborough Indians 1sts by 262 runs. After making 308-5, Jamie Richardson 117 not out, the visitors were dismissed for 46. Scott Green with 5-3 and Ryan Sheehan 5-24.
Uffington 1sts lost by nine runs after restricting East Carlton 1sts to 112.
In Division 3, Ketton Sports 1sts lost at home to Adidda 1sts by eight wickets after they had made 235-6, which included 95 from Lee Roche.
Stamford Town 1sts lost by 236 runs after being bowled out for 85 in reply to Pak Azad 1sts 321-3.
Finally in Division 4 West, Uffington 2nds won by six wickets chasing down 233-4 set by Upwood 1sts thanks to a undefeated 81 from Will Hetherington.
Grantham and Melton Cricket Association Division 2:
Burghley Park 2nds were beaten by 10 wickets by Croxton Kerrial 1sts after being dismissed for only 82.
Stamford Town 2nds bounced back from last week’s heavy defeat beating leaders Ashby Carington 1sts by three wickets.
Women’s Softball:
Oakham 1sts lost by 95 runs to Rothley Park and then by 14 runs to Old.
