A woman pedestrian in her 60s has died in hospital, after a collision on the High Street in Oakham near Church Street on Wednesday afternoon.
A woman in her 60s was taken to hospital in serious condition, after a collision with a white Ford Transit van in Oakham on Wednesday afternoon. It happened just before 2:00pm on the High Street at its junction with Church Street. The pedestrian sadly died on Friday. The driver of the Transit wasn't injured. Officers from Leicestershire Police's Serious Collision Investigation Unit are appealing for witnesses to the incident and the circumstances leading up to it, including any dashcam or CCTV footage.
