Officers say they'll be stepping up patrols there to avoid a repeat of the incident.
Police and the fire service were called to Oakham High Street last night after it was reported people were on a roof of a property there. Officers say they managed to successfully and safely get them down, and one individual is being dealt with for a minor public order offence. Police urge people to be wary of their safety when entering any areas at height, especially in the inclement weather, and officers will be seeking to patrol these areas in future to prevent any repeats of the incident.
