77 miles of footpaths are being improved in Lincolnshire across 177 locations including some in Stamford.
Foundry Road, North Street, East Street, Clare Close and the Paddock are on the list. Work is already underway and will continue until October. Lincolnshire County Council is using a surfacing technique called micro asphalt, which should make them smoother and reduce the risk of water getting in, which should stop them crumbling and becoming uneven.
