Lincolnshire Police is joining other forces across the country to run spot checks on drivers eyesight
over the coming weeks. The road side vision screening will ask motorists to read a number plate from a distance of 20 metres, which is about 5 car lengths. It's part of a national initiative to make sure drivers meet the legal eyesight standards for driving.
